Library database contains bibliographic descriptions of about 12000 printed materials. Search of key words, symbols or exact phrase is simultaneously carried out among all bibliographic descriptions. One can use:
   • several key words divided by space;
   • quotation marks to search exact phrase;
   • only word roots without prefixes and endings;
   • index of universal decimal classification (UDC).

2017 Gruber Foundation Cosmology Prize Recipient Announced

The 2017 Gruber Foundation Cosmology Prize recognises Sandra Faber for a body of work that has helped establish many of the foundational principles underlying the modern understanding of the Universe on the largest scales.

IAU Set to Celebrate 100 Years of вЂњUniting the World to Explore the UniverseвЂќ

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in 2019, the IAU will organise a year-long worldwide public engagement celebration under the theme вЂњUniting our World to Explore the UniverseвЂќ. The first plans for the celebration were announced at the opening session of the Communicating Astronomy with the Public 2018 Conference in Fukuoka, Japan, the worldвЂ™s largest gathering of astronomy communicators.
