Scientific Rationale
Research Institute - Nikolaev Astronomical Observatory invites you to participate in the international conference NAO2016, which will be held in RI NAO (Nikolaev, Ukraine) on September 26-29, 2016.
The conference is organized to discuss methods and technical means of ground-based observations, IVOA role in modern research, actual problems of ground-based astronomy as well as history of astronomical research. Working languages are English, Ukrainian and Russian. Presented reports will be published as articles in a special issue of journal titled Science and Innovations, dedicated to the conference. Abstract Book will be published in English.

1. Methods, technical means and software for ground-based observations and data processing.
2. Use of IVOA technologies for solution of modern astronomical problems.
3. Results of data processing for ground-based observations.
4. History of astronomical research.
