Information in the form of texts, audio and video files, computer programs, data bases on the RI NAO official website is provided in accordance with the Law of Ukraine «Про авторське право та суміжні права» and the Universal Copyright Convention, adopted in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1952.

The information is given to familiarize  visitors of the site with professional activities of the observatory, some modern astronomy news, to popularize astronomy, as well as to develop scientific cooperation.

Personal information about the RI NAO employes is provided on the grounds of their preliminary consent in accordance with the article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "Про інформацію".  

Any information on the official web site of the RI NAO is not confidential or secret in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "Про інформацію" and "Про державну таємницю".

Citation of any information is permitted in accordance with the article 21 of the Law of Ukraine «Про авторське право та суміжні права» and the Universal Copyright Convention.   A hyperlink to the RI NAO site must be provided in case of the citation. An author's name must be specified if it was given on corresponding page.
